I have had the pleasure of covering events in a variety of venues — from the most remote and industrial to the most traditional. Whether I am shooting a wedding in a Brooklyn backyard or a Bar Mitzvah on the Intrepid, I have the same mission: capture the warmth, joy and intimacy of the day. I value being present, and zeroing in on the small moments and gestures as well as documenting the big key moments — without ever being intrusive.

When I photograph families, we meet in the park or in the client’s home. Light stands go up, and the silliness ensues – after photographing hundreds of kids (and raising two) I find that a sense of humor is key . No matter the subject, the occasion, or the location, the core value that drives my photography is the same ; to capture the connection between people, and find a person’s individual spark.

My business has been featured in the Styles section of the New York Times, New York Magazine and Time Out New York, and my photographs have appeared in Vanity Fair, Harpers Bazaar and many other publications.
