Bio:
Kate Burton been photographing children, families and weddings since 1995. A pioneer in bringing a new level of naturalism and intimacy to portrait and event photography in New York City, Kate has been featured multiple times in the Styles section of the New York Times, as well as New York Magazine, Time Out New York and City Baby. Her photographs have appeared in O, Vanity Fair, Harpers Bazaar, Child, Parenting and many other publications. In 2002, Kate moved her studio from Manhattan's Upper East Side to Brooklyn, to the front of the building she lives in with her husband and two children, Minna, 8, and Leo, 5. She draws on her experience as a seasoned photographer and her loving eye as a mom for every shoot.
